We are a free referral service. We are not a roofing contractor, and we do not perform roofing work. We connect Valdosta and Lowndes County property owners with independent licensed roofing contractors.

How it works

1. You call us. Tell us what's happening — where the water is showing up, when it started, what the weather was doing. (There is no contact form on this site; the buttons place a call.)
2. We route it to a local roofer. Someone who covers your ZIP code and handles the kind of work you need.
3. They contact you directly. Everything after that — the inspection, the price, the scheduling, the work, the warranty — is between you and the contractor.

What it costs you

Nothing. The referral is free. We are paid by the contractors in our network, which is how this kind of service works and is worth knowing so you can weigh it accordingly.

That arrangement does mean we have an interest in you calling a contractor. We have tried to write the rest of this site so it is useful whether or not you do — the cost pages tell you what things should run, the diagnostic guides will sometimes tell you that you do not have a roof problem at all, and the insurance guide is written to help you with your claim rather than to sell you a replacement.

What we don't do

• We do not perform roofing work or employ roofers.
• We do not set prices or guarantee any contractor's work, licensing or insurance.
• We do not handle insurance claims. Negotiating a claim is a licensed activity in Georgia, and we are not licensed to do it. We will point you at a licensed public adjuster if that is what you need.

Checking a contractor yourself

You should, regardless of how you found them. Georgia does not issue a standalone roofing licence — contractor licensing runs through the Georgia State Licensing Board for Residential and General Contractors and applies above certain job thresholds. What matters more for a repair-sized job:

• General liability insurance and workers' compensation. Ask for certificates and verify them with the insurer named, not from a PDF handed to you. If an uninsured worker is hurt on your roof, that can land on your homeowners policy.
• A local physical address. After a storm the out-of-area crews leave, and the warranty leaves with them.
• A written workmanship warranty on repairs, not just replacements.
• A written quote before work starts.
